Website information

This website provides general information about SRS's construction testing and consultancy services. Descriptions help you start a discussion about a requirement; they are not a project-specific assessment, design instruction or statement that a structure or material is safe.

Testing methods, suitability, availability and reporting requirements depend on the assignment. Please discuss the relevant site, material or structure before relying on a proposed scope.

Enquiries and agreed work

An enquiry, website message or initial discussion does not by itself create a confirmed testing assignment. Scope, fees, scheduling, preparation, access, deliverables and responsibilities must be agreed separately in writing before work begins.

The online form is currently disabled and cannot send an enquiry. Phone and email details are available for an initial conversation. Where a project agreement is made, its agreed terms govern that assignment, subject to applicable law.

Tests, reports and interpretation

A test or report relates to the agreed scope, methods, observations and any stated limitations. A listing of a test on this website is not a guarantee that it is suitable for every project, available under every site condition, or sufficient on its own for a design or safety decision.

Project decisions should be considered by the responsible project professionals using the relevant information. The use, distribution and interpretation of a commissioned report should follow its stated scope and the applicable project agreement.

Responsible use of the site

Use the website and contact details for lawful, relevant enquiries. Information you send should be accurate to the best of your knowledge, and you should have authority to share project information supplied on someone else's behalf.

  • Do not interfere with the operation or security of the site.
  • Do not send spam, malicious code or misleading messages.
  • Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent a testing report or SRS's identity.

Content and third-party materials

SRS branding and the website's content are owned by, or used with permission by, the relevant rights holders. You may view the site and share links to its pages for ordinary reference. Do not imply endorsement, alter a report, or reuse branding in a misleading way.

Licensed fonts and software remain subject to their own licences. Links to separate services are provided where relevant; the terms of those services apply when you use them.

Availability and corrections

Website content and service descriptions may be updated, corrected or temporarily unavailable. We aim to keep the information useful, but an incomplete or outdated page should not be treated as a confirmed project commitment.

Please contact us if you notice an error or need to confirm a service requirement. No universal price, completion time or test outcome is promised by the website.

Responsibilities and limitations

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SRS does not accept responsibility for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from reliance on general website information. Project-specific duties and responsibilities are addressed in the relevant written agreement.

Nothing in these draft terms is intended to remove a right, remedy or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or restricted. This provision requires legal review before publication.

Privacy and correspondence

The Privacy Policy explains current enquiry availability, information involved in correspondence and the services planned for online enquiries. Please share only the information needed to discuss your requirement.

Applicable law and disputes

These website terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory legal protections that apply. A dispute is subject to the courts competent under applicable law and the terms of any valid project agreement.

This draft does not designate an exclusive city or court, impose arbitration or specify a contractual liability cap. Those matters require advice and agreement appropriate to the business and assignment.

Changes to these terms

The date shown above identifies this draft version. Website terms may be updated to reflect changes to the site or services. Changes to a confirmed assignment are dealt with through the applicable written project agreement.
